Our client is looking for a dynamic IT Infrastructure Analyst to join the organization. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with solid technical skills and an aptitude for exceeding expectations.  Responsibilities include working with various team members from Technical Operations and Network Communications.  Role will include, but not limited to; enhancing global monitoring and alert notification capabilities, system log reviews and integration with security event information management system (SEIM), backup / recovery audits along with expanding the overall capabilities with the enterprise global backup platform, supporting network authentication and file services, network technologies, and supporting internal customers.

Responsibilities/duties:

Administration of Global Monitoring and Alert Notification Systems

  • Provide 1st and 2nd level support by reviewing (initial triage) and resolving alerts within established service levels
  • Enhance existing monitoring and alerting capabilities globally
  • Assist with maintaining and updating the core IT owned applications 

System log reviews and integration with security event information management system

  • Review logs and optimize alert notifications based upon defined criteria
  • Create customized reporting for global locations

Administration of Global Enterprise Backup Technology

  • Review daily backup tasks and remediate issues as required
  • Automate backup / recovery tasks to streamline and improve efficiencies
  • Perform backup and recovery operations / health checks

Required Qualifications:

  • Some working knowledge of cloud-based technologies (O365, Azure, Cisco)
  • Proven analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated success in consistently meeting or exceeding deadlines
  • Comfortable with working on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven ability to draft clear, concise, and accurate technical reports

Education and experience required:

  • High School diploma or equivalent work experience
  • 2 years system administration or networking experience
    • Experience in the design, implementation, and/or administration of any of the following:
      • Monitoring and Alert Notification technologies
      • Enterprise backup and recovery technologies
      • Network management and reporting systems
      • Directory Services (e.g. Windows 2008+ AD, LDAP)
      • Wired and wireless networking
      • Cloud applications
