SAP seeks to double Ariba customers by 2015
Published by on October 7, 2012 - 1:28pmGerman software company SAP AG SAP sees huge business potential from its takeover of U.S. information services provider Ariba Inc. (ARBA) and seeks to double the number of Ariba's 730,000 customers by 2015, the company told the Wall Street Journal in an interview Monday.
"With 730,000 trading partners out there and SAP's reach--I think we can double the number by 2015," said Co-Chief Executive Officer Bill McDermott.

Published by on October 7, 2012 - 1:25pmSAP AG (SAP), the largest maker of enterprise-management software, will reach its 2015 sales target for Web-based software without more acquisitions after taking over Ariba Inc. (ARBA), its co-chief executive officer said.
“We have all the assets we need to blow through 2 billion euros ($2.6 billion) by 2015,” Bill McDermott said in a phone interview today. “The way we’re growing in the cloud, hopefully we can even get it done sooner.”
